For the engine mount, nose wheel pivots and the steering mechanism, I manufactured phenol plates for the cut outs (1.5mm) instead of the fiberfrax.The fiberfrax also has 1.5mm of thickness. After completion, the plates were bonded in place so they won't come off when taking any of the bolts out for maintenance action. I had to cut the 8 x M8 bolts holding the engine mount for the right length. The shaft had surprisingly the correct length.
